This briefing pack will look at how podcasting can be used as an effective teaching and learning tool to support learners who are at the pass/fail borderline in vocational subjects.

It will provide examples of how podcasting has been used in the following areas:

• Speaking and Listening Skills - A group of motor vehicle students working towards a Level 1 Motor Vehicle IMI Award - Fast Fit.

• Modern Foreign Languages - Foundation modern foreign language is a subject many of our students find challenging but it is part of the core offer at KS4.

• Verbal Feedback - For students who need to improve their literacy skills in order to achieve their potential C grade.
